Bjørn and Conor are past students of EU International Relations and Diplomacy at the College of Europe in Bruges,  although this blog represents only their own personal musings, and those of their colleagues.

Bjørn hails from Norway. He has a European studies and international relations background and before he joined the College of Europe he was an intern at the Norwegian Mission to the EU in Brussels. His main research interests are security and defence policy and Norway’s evolving relationship with the EU. In his spare time he has a penchant for strong coffee, chocolate and good books.

Conor is from the southern tip of Ireland. He has a business background and previously spent two years working for a British consultancy company and a Chinese steel importer. His main research interests are the roles of European businesses in China, China´s evolving foreign policy and global energy security. In his spare time he enjoys strange films, exotic teas and Hull City football club.
